We've had this fridge about 1 month and it is very quiet and has presented no problems. It has cold water and ice in either crushed or cubed form. My son loves the crushed ice feature since it cools drinks down fast. My main beef about this refrigerator is that there is a lot of wasted space. It uses traditional light bulbs including bulbs behind the food (why???). The bulbs and their guards waste nearly 1 cu ft of space. The water is kept in a resivoir in the back of the refrigerator that prevents the shelves from going all the way to the backs: another cubic foot of space lost. The shelves have too wide reinforcement on the shelves that cause items to tip over and have a fancy curved front: I'd rather just have the shelves made to maximize storage! Anyway, they need to more efficiently make use of the interior space of the frige including using small, energy efficient leds.

I've had this for more than a year now and it's been running like a champ. I was skeptical when I wanted to buy it coz it was so damn cheap. It gets the job done and all the bells and whistles work fine. The black plastic on the ice and water dispenser is a bit cheap looking but it is OK otherwise. I've been very happy with this fridge and I am just wondering why other brands go for double this price on a stainless steel side by side.

The product works great. I dont have the water plugged in. On the first day it made lot of noise. Its fine now and havent done that.
Plenty of room.
Shipment is bad so be careful. It took a month to deliver the fridge. I am in west coast and the fridge came all the way from east coast. The shippers didnt do a good job coordinating the shipment. THey would bring the fridge to my door without calling me first.
One con is its too high so make sure you check the measurements before you buy which i forgot to do :) and ended up having to move it.

I had to buy a refrigerator that fit in a small space (33 inches or less), so I had limited choices and didn't want to spend a fortune. This one fit the bill. It is a very nice mid-range price fridge. The icemaker and water dispenser work great, both the fridge and the freezer are lighted, as well as the water/ice dispenser (a nice bright LCD light) and the storage shelves and bins are nice quality. My previous fridge was a high-end Kitchenaid, and this does not have as many luxury features, but that is to be expected. The stainless and styling have a high-end look and I think it is a very good value for the price. Overall I'm very happy with this fridge!

Long story short: bought a side by side...ice-maker broke within a few months...which after the 'normal' hassle you have to go through to get it repaired, the whole thing happened again a few months later...this time, I had to stand on my head and spit nickels to get a replacement...eventually they replaced the whole refrigerator (which to me is an admission of poor workmanship)...just from that experience I vowed to never purchase the Frigidaire brand again (which by the way got the lowest rating from Consumers Report BUT I bought it at the time because it was the only brand that fit into the space in my kitchen)...FAST FORWARD a few years later...guess what just broke on my Frigidaire? arghhhhhhh!
I just buy bagged ice now. This should not happen to an appliance that you paid $1,000 for. I'm 60 years old...in all of my life neither my family or I have ever called for a repairman...what's up with dat' Frigidaire?
p.s. To be fair, my review is not about this... Read more

Do not buy this refrigerator. I found out that every 3 month the water filter will clog, you'll end up with no water and no ice cube. Sears sent someone to diagnose, but they'll tell you to buy water filter at a steep price of $60.00

For the most part, this refridgerator has done a good job keeping the drinks cold, and the size is reasonable: small on the outside, big on the inside, perfect for the dorm room. The interior is sound and the temperature is very cold, even on the minimum setting.
So why did it lose three stars? Because of one minor flaw, and one serious problem. The minor flaw is that while the fridge keeps the things inside cold, the top and sides get uncomfortably warm. Not enough to set anything on fire, but definitely not the thing you want to put your bare hand on for long. Good if you want to keep lunch warm though.
As for the serious problem-- the pipe in the back gets really, really cold. After running this for three weeks, my mother noticed that the fridge was leaking water. Upon further inspection, I noticed that it wasn't a leak...it was water dripping from MELTING ICE THAT HAD FORMED around one of the pipes in the back of the fridge, just outside of the insulation... I had been wanting a compact refrigerator for awhile now. Finally decided to get one -- and I must say this is a fine choice.
The first thing I noticed about it was it was a little bigger then I expected for some reason. But it is relativly light and movable. One thing I really like about it is the look, the front is stainless steel, with the 2 sides and top being a very nice looking glossy black. Inside the Fridge is pretty roomy. Well, as roomy as a Mini-Fridge can be anyways.
Now on to the operation. It gets really cold, and I keep it at the setting of 3. It goes all the way up to 7. It's got a nice little ice tray on the top which is a nice feature...although the little freezer tray does seem to get some frost build up over time, which I'm not really a fan of. Also, the Fridge is not loud at all -- at first I noticed it being on just because I wasn't used to having a compact Fridge in my room. But soon after I forgot it was even there.

I bought this for my office. I looks great, and works fine. It also was received very fast. I was amazed how quickly I received it. One issue though; it has one of the most lacking owner's manuals, so be prepared for trial and error. I know a fridge is not the most complicated equipment, but I had to guess which way the cold adjustment knob was supposed to go to make the fridge colder. The knob is also down in the back, so if you have to adjust, it is a bit of a reach. Now that I figured things out, though, I really am pleased.
