Yesterday, the truck from J.B. Hunt arrived within a minute of the time they estimated on the phone, which is impressive alone, considering they had 70 miles to come from their last delivery. The drivers were courteous, professional, and clean. They did their work quickly and efficiently. They were very patient with us. We got this fridge as a second fridge, for overflow, so they didn't have to haul away the old one. Nevertheless, they moved it back and forth in the garage until we were able to get the cord to the outlet that was not on a GFI circuit. They even helped me move a couple of cabinets in order to get to that outlet. No complaints, they just took it in stride. They didn't leave until everything was working correctly, with all the shelves in place and doors balanced correctly.I had never thought of Amazon.com for appliances before, but after my experience with J.B. Hunt, I will always look to Amazon.com FIRST for all appliances! I only wish there were... The delivery of my refrigerator went through without a hitch. I got a call Wednesday on the cell phone associated with my Amazon account, the very friendly caller on the phone told me my fridge will be delivered Friday between 11:00 - 3:00 and about 11:35 on Friday I received a call saying they would be at my house within a half hour. Twenty minutes later the big box truck pulls up in front of my house. One of the workers gets out of the cab and enters the back of the truck, strips away all the cardboard and packaging material puts into the far corner of the truck and lowers the deck of the truck with my new fridge on a dolly. The driver gets out with his tape measure and makes for certain the fridge will go through the door without a problem, Then the two enter and place the fridge right where I wanted it. All done within 15 minutes and another 15 minutes after I placed the shelves where I wanted them and attached the handle my new fridge was up and... This installation service has been the best we've ever received. The company called on a Monday and was able to deliver the fridge ( Amana 18.5 cu. ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator, ABB1921WEW, White) on Wednesday of the same week. I missed their call initially, and when I called back, I immediately reached a person at her direct number - no call centers, automated menues, etc. This was fast and efficient. They called on Tuesday with an automated message announcing a 4-hour delivery window, then followed up on Wednesday with a 1/2 hour prior-to-arrival reminder.I wasn't present during the installation, and my wife usually hates dealing with any delivery/installation people when I'm not there.
